Rock - 5 min's - Beach, Bars and Restaurants. you can learn to sail or water ski, play golf, take a fishing trip or you can catch the ferry to Padstow where you can take the ‘Jubilee Queen’ out to Puffin Island or take a speedboat trip around the Camel Estuary.
Daymer Bay - 5 min's - is great for wind and kite surfing. This long sandy beach is ideal for young children as the sea doesn't have the surf, with plenty of rock pools at low tide.
Port Quin - 5 min's - recommended Beautiful looking port.
Padstow - 30 min's - Beautiful looking port - Rick Steins seafood restraint.
Port Issac - 10 min's - Another 'picture postcard' port.
Wadebridge - 10 min's - Banks, Chemists and Supermarkets.
Bodmin - 20 min's - Bodmin Parkway Train Station - Shopping
Newquay - 45 min's - Zoo, well known Surfing Beach.
St Austell - 55 min's - Shopping and fantastic beach.
The Eden Project - 55 min's - Two Glass Bio domes filled with tropical plants - a great day out if the weather isn't perfect.
The Lost garden of Helligan, The National Trust's Lanhydrock House are all in driving distance and are open all year.
The Camel Trail is a 15 mile track from Padstow to Wentford and can be walked or cycled, it follows the Camel estuary so there's plenty of wild life to spot.
