Polzeath
Polzeath is a family resort with pubs but no nightclub, famous for it's
beautiful sandy beaches and surfing.
The beach is only 5 minutes walk away and has numerous cafe's and shops.
Surfing lessons, golf, sailing and water skiing are all available nearby.
If walking is your desire then try walking The Rumps Costal Path to the
Iron Age Cliffs Castle where you can perhaps spot Puffin and Seal en route.
Dolphins and Basking Shark come to the bay between June and September and
often come close to the shore and up the river Camel Estuary.
Damer Bay about 1 mile away, famous for it's wind and kite surfing, and
is idea for children as the water has little surf and reveals plenty of
rock pools at low tide.
Rock beach had a regular sea ferry to Padstow and is sometimes walkable
at low tide.
